An ADSL microfilter is designed for use between an existing PSTN or POTS
(Plain Old Telephone Service) device such as phone extensions, fax machines and telephone answering machines, and the telephone line. The microfilter allows these devices to function normally e.g. for normal voice telephone calls over a telephone line used for the ADSL service.
The ADSL microfilter must be mounted between each telephone device and the telephone line.
